Hatha Yoga and its Benefits

HATHA Yoga Ha refers to “ Sun " and Tha refers to “ M oon ”   It is the uniting of sun and moon - the Masculine and Feminine .  It simply refers to the practice of physical yoga postures.  HATHA YOGA has been practiced for at least 5000 years, its actual origin is difficult to determine. But the term ‘ Hatha ' was first recorded in the 11th century and it wasn't until the late 19th century that it came to America, gaining mainstream popularity in the 1960s.  The 8 limbs of Hatha Yoga are defined as Yama (abstinences), Niyama (observances), Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathing), Pratyahara (withdrawal), Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation) and Samadhi (absorption).  The eight limbs form a sequence from the outer to the inner.  Hatha Yoga is considered a gentle yoga that focuses on static poses and is great for beginners.  A traditional Hatha Yoga practice will incorporate breathing, meditation and basic postures.  Now we will start with Hatha Yoga postu

Yoga So let's begin...😊  What is  Yoga ?  Yoga  means union-Union of your body, mind and soul.  And how the breath is related to yoga?   Breathing is the basic foundation of our yoga practice. Inhalation and exhalation.   “THREE PART BREATH" which are Abdomen-Diaphragm-Chest   Breathing techniques are:- Inhale through the nose -  Completely fill your lungs with air -  Breathe into your belly, rib cage and upper chest -  Exhale through the nose -  Completely empty your lungs with air -  Reverse the flow from your belly, rib cage and upper chest    As we are discussing the beginning of yoga. We will be more discussing the journey stepwise, slow and steady.  Breathing Yoga Human's existence is based on breathing. Breathing is the most common and basic processes of living.  And undoubtedly,  most humans breathe incorrectly. They use their lungs' capacity not fully and hence they get tired easily.  So firstly we all should breathe like we smell flowers or doing anything th
