Acceptance is the key towards a better life

ACCEPTANCE

Have you ever sat peacefully and thought about your faults?

Are you ever in solace and think of all the mistakes you have done unknowingly?

When you are alone, do you think of the sins you have committed?

Do you ever think of your actions which might have hurt others?

Most of us don’t do that because we think we are always right. We never realize that what wrong we had done or even if we do realize we are wrong, we are just not ready to accept our mistakes.

Everyone is wrong sometimes, everyone commits mistakes. It is not only you or me, sometimes high-rank holders do. See, we are humans and no machines. We are designed in a way in which errors and mistakes are normal. It is really okay if you are not perfect because no one really is. Steve jobs and bill gates are college dropouts. Walt Disney was told by his editor that he lacked imagination. Albert Einstein was mentally retarded until he was 10.

Now you will interrupt me saying that they are big famous personalities so it’s okay for them to be not perfect but darling it is not an argument because they were too “normal” just like you and me at a point of time. But you know what made them achievers? What is the difference between them and us? What is that secret thing with then because of which they are at top today and not us?

The answer is really simple.

It is “ACCEPTANCE”

They were willingly ready to accept their mistakes. They did not take their mistakes as failures and stopped working hard. Rather they accepted their mistakes and lived with them. If we do the same thing, accept our mistakes then it will be really easy for us to conquer what comes in our way.

Thinking again and again about the same failures will make us weaker and weaker. We will overthink about that same thing and will be burdened by the stigma of our faults. This is really not okay.  Making mistakes is okay. Being wrong unintentionally is okay. Failing is okay. What is not okay is not accepting that. When you accept your mistakes you already love yourself. Accepting yourself for your failure is self-love. Everyone loves themselves when they are right but there are only a few who love themselves after failing.

And self-love is the first step of acceptance. When you accept yourself no one in the world can come between you and your dreams. Accept your failures and mistakes and live with them because they teach you the toughest lesson which no one can ever can.
