Meditation and its effects

Meditation

What is Meditation:-
In simple language, Meditation means focus – focus on one particular or specific thing.

It could be anything, listening to music or working on something but it's just that there should be a focus on one particular activity.

One can start by closing the eyes with gently breathing (Inhaling and exhaling) and focusing between the eyebrows.
We should try to stop the activities going on in the mind and body.

When we focus, our brain stops doing its work and stops processing the information as actively as it normally does.

Meditation reduces the flow of incoming information coming in the brain on and off.

There are 3 types of lobes in our brain.
1- Frontal lobe
2- Parietal lobe
3- Occipital lobe

Frontal lobe:- This lobe is responsible for emotions, planning, memory, judgments, acts as a control panel. Meditation stops all the processes of the frontal lobe.

Parietal lobe:- It is the middle part of the brain. All sensory information is done by this lobe. During Mediation, all sensory activities of the brain slow down.

Occipital lobe:- This lobe is related to visual information like color determination, face recognition, etc. During Meditation, all visual activities stop and the brain doesn’t respond to them.
